USHA Heleous BLDC Ceiling Fan Review

Usha helous is Usha's second bldc fan after Usha Energia 32. This fan is available in two colors one is sparkle white & the second is sparkle black. Compare to Usha's Energia 32 bldc fan this fan has a sleek integrated design. This fan is equipped with a BLDC motor so that this fan can save up to 50 % electricity compare to ordinary ceiling fans.

This fan has the 43 W bldc motor, in the current bldc fan market we have bldc fan which has the power consumption starting from 28 W so that this fan has slightly more consumption than other bldc fans in the market. But this fan has rust-free aerodynamic ABS blades which gives the 260 m³ /min high air delivery & smoother air feel. This fan is the best choice because that this fan has a high air delivery compare to other bldc fans. 


This fan comes with Bi-directional rotation/two-directional rotation. With this option, we can use this fan in all weather. Like in summer we can set fan rotation on anti-clockwise and in winter we can set fan rotation in the clockwise direction.  

Usha Helous is controlled by the RF remote control, as this fan has the RF remote control so that if you have more than one Helous fan in the room then you have to require a separate remote for all fans.

Some bldc fans have the IR-based remote control so that we can control all the fans with single remote control.  But the main advantage of the RF-Based remote control is that you don't have to point your remote towards the fan, you can Point anywhere to operate your fan.



With Usha Helous RF remote control we can set 1 to 5 speed, on & off the fan, 1H, 2H, 6H timer, Fan rotation set on forward and reverse direction, natural and sleep mode.

    I have purchased this fan.
    This fan falls true for all the features they claim.
    Not tested for the electricity consumption, but I can assure you rest of the features are very good.

    Air Delivery i.e. 260 CMM highest in the segment.
    real Noiseless fan.

    Remote is good, not a cheap one. Its well designed and works on IR.

    If you want highest air flow (do not consider power consumption and price), then do not give a second thought. Go for it.

    USHA has been a pain to deal with. My parents, living in Chandigarh, have been trying to get issues with Usha Heleous fan resolved for the last 2 months. The fan, being sold as a smart BLDC fan, is nothing but a trouble machine. It is disheartening that a company claiming to be an international brand is causing grief to old folks in the middle of scorching summers. There have been multiple complaints lodged that have been auto-closed with no response. In the off-chance someone does end up visiting, they have no clue on how to deal or service the fan, leading to no resolution.
    Stay away frrom Usha, and Heleous in particular.
